We had a chance to observe more high-level combat in the Age of Conan Gold game, which remains as bloody and violent as ever.

We ended our tour with a brief visit to an extremely high-level dungeon known as "Black Ring Citadel," a level-80 dungeon (80 will be the highest character level you can attain at the game's launch) intended for the game's full "raid" contingent of up to 24 Age of Conan Gold game characters.

After this form of the wizard was ultimately destroyed, our party delved further into the dungeon to a gigantic hall in which an enormous gargoyle creature much larger than the full screen's size stood in wait for us, and summoned additional gargoyles and apprentice wizards while it swiped at our party with its huge claws.

Attention MAC Users: With a single button mouse, hold down the Command key on the keyboard while you click the mouse button to simulate a right click in the game.

A macro is simply a list of slash commands. I'm sure you are familiar with some of the more common slash commands...

The Rest State modifier gives players a time-limited bonus to combat (PvE) experience. This frees up time for exploring other aspects of the game without penalty, such as tradeskilling and social activities, and helps players avoid level-grinding. Inns serve as a good place to hang up your sword or staff for the night because they confer special bonuses. Inns also act as home locations. Hearthstones provide a speedy way to travel back to an Inn when you need to take care of business in town, or when you're ready to check in and call it a night.

There are a lot of options to continue to build and enhance your character after you have reached level 70. This is only the beginning... The Burning Crusade was released in January, 2007. This expansion adds a LOT of content to the game which should keep players busy for a while.

When hit by a spell, you have two chances to resist the spell. The first chance is based on your level. If you are much higher level than the attacking caster, you will have a significant chance to resist the caster's spell, but if you are much lower level, you will have a minimal chance to resist the spell (minimum of 1%). If you make this resistance chance, you are completely unaffected by the spell.

Blizzard have cleared the Public Test Realm Forum, reposted the PTR Technical FAQ and re-written the PTR Read Me in preparation for the next testing period. This means we'll soon see the huge content patch, referred to as 3.0, that Blizzard spoke about a couple of days ago.

Apparently, some people are still thinking of the viability of having World of Warcraft on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Well, it's one of the most successful MMORPGs of all-time, so maybe porting it over to other platforms is a good thing, for financial reasons (if you're following Square Enix's line of thought). However, running parallel to Hideo Kojima's statement yesterday (about MGS4 being impossible for the Xbox 360 because the game wasn't designed for the 360 in the first place), J. Allen Brack and Tom Chilton of Blizzard both agree that WoW was always intended to be played on the PC.
